Manx Gas has installed a series of combined heat and power (CHP) systems in the Isle of Man – in commercial and public service locations – providing major savings in fuel.

Wasted energy is reduced by an average 20% and harmful emissions are cut dramatically. Once installed, the CHP unit, which runs on gas linked through to the electricity supply, is monitored remotely via modem to an on-board microprocessor for maximized heating and lighting efficiency.
